“Let me be clear: I will let no one question my love of this country.” This quote spoken by none other than Senator Barack Obama-the probable Democratic Nominee. And let me be the first to say, GREAT ANSWER!`
Never mind that Senator McCain DIDN’T question Obama’s love of country. Never mind that McCain never questioned his patriotism. And never mind that McCain was talking ONLY about Obama’s policies. It’s just not fair to cloud Obama with the facts. Just DON’T QUESTION HIS LOVE OF THIS COUNTRY.
This tactic is CLASSIC Barack Obama. He doesn’t know what to say. He has no answer to the comments made by Mr. McCain which are as follows:
“Obama “tried to legislate failure” in the Iraq war and had put his ambition to be president above the interests of the United States. He said the Illinois senator did this by pushing for a timetable for withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from Iraq and by voting in the Senate against a major appropriations bill to help fund the troop increase. Responding to Obama’s comments, McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds said: “Barack Obama has made it clear that unconditional withdrawal in Iraq is more important to him than victory in Iraq. That’s not a criticism of his patriotism, that’s a criticism of his judgment.”
I don’t know, but this sounds like a criticism of policy rather than a criticism of Mr. Obama’s “love of country.”
This is classic Barack Obama. When he comes up against something he can’t answer, which seems to be an everyday occurrence, he has two answers that he seems to rotate:
1.) McCain is questioning his patriotism
2.) He’s a victim of racism
His other tactic is to back up, make the issue a much broader one, and never answer anything.
Now he has a new ad coming out seeming as if he is trying to make my point. His ad is there to guilt people into voting for someone who “has a different sounding name,” “comes from a single parent household,” and “he didn’t grow up with money.” Hopefully most thinking people won’t fall for such vile tactics, but there has to be some that will.
No Mr. Obama. Senator McCain did not criticize your love of country, he is not a racist and he is not judging on the basis of race. He is criticising your policy as any presidential candidate who did not agree with your views would.
If you stand the heat Mr. Obama, get out of the kitchen! And stop using your race, your name, and your background as your “excuse” for being INcompetent.
I have to say, we are clear Mr. Obama. We are VERY clear.
