Say good bye-den (get it?? get it???)

Well Billyboob got his chance to grab the spotlight again and wow…did he LOVE it.  But his speech, I must say was more helpful to Barack than Hillary’s.  I thought it would be worth examining some of his comments shall we??  SURE…I knew you’d agree….

Billy said that Barack ‘hit one out of the park’ with his choice of Jo Biden.  REALLY??  ARE WE SURE ABOUT THAT?  Let’s examine what Jo has said about Barack…

At the beginning of year, Biden said Obama was “the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean.”   WOW.  What an ‘enlightened, thing to say about a history making presidential candidate.    Then, he also said…”I think he (Obama) can be ready but right now I don’t think he is…the presidency is not something that lends itself to on the job training”.  This is all on top of the fact that Obama’s big thing is how he isn’t ‘part of the Washington Machine’.  That’s true.  He hasn’t spent his time in public life so that we can all look at his past deeds and compare them to what he is saying now.  He came out of nowhere with a lot of ‘interesting’ contacts and money backing him.  BUT, what of Jo Biden?  In congress longer than John McCain.  NOT part of Washington??? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” />

Billy also said that Barack was ready to lead this country???  Really???  Can’t make up his mind can he?  Back in the primaries…”MSNBC is reporting that on the campaign trail today in Charlotte, North Carolina, the former president said a general election matchup between his wife, Sen. Clinton, and Sen. John McCain would be between “two people who love this country” without “all this other stuff that always seems to intrude itself on our politics.”"  He went on at other times to compare Obama with himself in 1988 when he decided NOT to run because he wasn’t ready.  He also spoke about how Obama has liked to claim that he was always against the war that he has voted to fund.  However, on the original vote, he wasn’t in the Senate.  He didn’t get to vote.

To be fair, GW inherited a NEGATIVE economic growth rate from Billy when he took office and then got hit with 9/11.  On the other hand, the Repubs had  4 years with both Congress and White House to accomplish making the government smaller…..well????  BIG FAT INCREASE IN SPENDING.  Tax cuts?  Great??  Spending cuts?  No way!!  Who can we blame for that?

So….now it’s time to ‘change’.  We should ‘change’ to tolerance right????

DENVER — Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign organized its supporters Wednesday night to confront Tribune-owned WGN-AM in Chicago for having a critic of the Illinois Democrat on its air.

“WGN radio is giving right-wing hatchet man Stanley Kurtz a forum to air his baseless, fear-mongering terrorist smears,” Obama’s campaign wrote in an e-mail to supporters. “He’s currently scheduled to spend a solid two-hour block from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. pushing lies, distortions, and manipulations about Barack and University of Illinois professor William Ayers.”

Kurtz, a conservative writer, recently wrote an article for the National Review that looked at Obama’s ties to Ayers, a former 1960s radical who later emerged as a school reform advocate in Chicago.

I guess the only ‘tolerance’ that is allowed is the ‘tolerance’ that agrees with them….fairness doctrine right??

So after all this rambling I guess we should say….. “Bye-Den to change we can believe in”.  Bye-tax cuts.  Bye-money in wallet.  Bye-freedom of the press.  Time for same old same old.  Corruption and special interests.  Just ask the ABC news reporter that got arrested at the DNC for taking pictures on a public sidewalk of people going in to a special ‘private’ meeting.  Haven’t you heard?  The mafia doesn’t like having their pictures taken.   Ask Barack, he knows.
