From B-O to P-O

So, an $816 billion dollar stimulus package that is leading the way to ‘change’ and economic stimulus (which will totally be ‘stimulating’ the public parks system by DOUBLING it’s $2 billion dollar annual budget-remind me…how many people work there?)….and by buying a new fleet of energy efficient cars for the government (I guess it helps prop up the failing auto makers since all the other money didn’t help and regular people can’t afford to buy a new car so, somehow the government should buy itself some?) ….and by giving HUGE amounts to ACORN since they did  such a bang up job in the last election of registering Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck……the list goes on and on and what I fail to see in this is how it jump starts the economy. 

Really, what is happening right now is even comical.  We have appointed cabinet members who are being put in place to oversee financial matters and they can’t seem to pay their own taxes.  We are told that the BO administration is getting rid of special interests where the special interests seem to have written this bill.  It’s like a massive joke and this country is about to get just what it asked for. 

After all the talk of ‘change’ during the election campaign…BO has chosen to give the economy more of what GW was already giving it in his lack of judgment and his desire to look like he was bi-partisan.  He ran an administration that was not true to the conservative ideals of fiscal responsibility…..he WAY over spent….so BO, in talking about change decided to be even MORE fiscally irresponsible???  Ok, WHAT??  And at the same time, he is ‘restoring’ America’s place in the world be offering to meet Arab terrorists (because he wants change and after all, there have not been any major attacks on US soil since 9/11 and we just can’t have that….we need CHANGE).

So, we continue on the road to ‘change’ by going the same direction….just faster….and giving overseas tax payer funded abortions and buying cars for the government and meeting with terrorists….ok, but what about the economy??  Well, with all this money spent with no oversight (which is very different from the last time we spent the money with no oversight since we are in the midst of ‘change’), I guess we are going from BO to PO because when you are PO you can’t afford the OR.
